Audience Services

Audience services assist patrons and volunteers and serve as the main point of contact to any members of the public for a performance organization or venue. Serving as a knowledgeable resource about programming and ticketing, they oversee front-of-house operations which includes answering and addressing any questions or concerns that may arise around the visitor experience (e.g. ticket or admissions issues).

They must represent the organization professionally, and consistently maintain excellent visitor service standards while staying in alignment with the policies, procedures, and the mission of the organization. Audience services work with ticketing systems like Tessitura to process ticket and subscription orders, and also work with house management and box office in relation to the customer experience.
